CI/CWA Anti-Violence Program

Our International Secretariat, Communications International (CI), has launched a worldwide program to stop domestic.  CWA, as a member of CI, is taking a leadership role in promoting the program.

A resolution was introduced by the Inter American Women's Committee and adopted by the CI Executive Council.

As a result, we have arranged for you to order the purple ribbon pin which has been established worldwide as the anti-violence color.  A special poster has also been designed.

Domestic Violence is a major problem throughout the world and one that we hope to focus on in order to provide support for those members, relatives or friends, that are silently suffering abuse.

In some cases our employers are available to help and in other cases we need to negotiate that help -- but we must get started.
