Employee Request for Job
Evaluation Review
CWA and OPEIU have reached final agreement on the ongoing job
evaluation review process. The following outlines how the process will work.
- In order to determine if your job should be evaluated, you
should first measure your job duties and responsibilities against your job
description to determine if significant changes have occurred or
additional responsibilities have been added.
- If you feel that your job needs to be evaluated, complete
Part A & B of the Employee Request for
Job Evaluation Review form. Be aware your
position can be downgraded as well as upgraded, so think carefully before
submitting this form.
- Forward the form to your immediate supervisor for review
and comment.
- Your supervisor will complete their portion of the form and
forward the form to your Administrative Unit Job Evaluation Administrator.
- The Job Evaluation Administrator will add their
recommendation to the form and forward it to the Human Resources Department.
- The Human Resources Department will arrange for the request
to be reviewed by the Job Evaluation Committee.
- If the Job Evaluation Committee determines your position
warrants a full review, you and your supervisor will be notified by the
Human Resources Department to complete a Job
Analysis Questionnaire.
- The completed questionnaire must be signed by your
supervisor and forwarded to the Job Evaluation
Administrator.
- The Job Evaluation Administrator may add comments and then
forward the signed form to the Human Resources Department.
- The Human Resources Department will schedule a meeting of
the Job Evaluation Committee to review the completed questionnaire.
- Within 30 days of completing the analysis, the committee
will notify you and your supervisor of their decision.
